Prime (6 Grade)

Sixth grade! A year of transition, growth, and new adventures! We are so excited to be part of your sixth graders life this year, and we have so many great things planned for them. As you walk through this year of transition and change, we want to partner with you as parents to help your sixth grader know and love Jesus more. We believe there are some key areas that will strengthen your student’s faith and help them build a foundation for the years to come. We want to help them build a foundation of a quiet time, inductive Bible study, and understanding the Biblical roles of a man and woman. We want to partner with you this year as we teach on these foundational truths.

Sunday Mornings

Each Sunday morning  at 9 AM our Prime classes meet separated by gender. The focus of both classes is to understand the Biblical role of a man and a woman in life. We believe this is a foundational belief for sixth graders to understand. Here is a description of each of those classes:

Girls Classled by Aimee Taylor and Leslie Russell | Room 164

Sixth grade girls will study Ruth and Esther. These books were chosen to help the girls understand obedience, character, love for God and others, purpose and God's will, God's protection, and God's love for His people, among other things.

Guys Classled by Rick Russell and Daniel Whittenburg | Room 154

Sixth grade boys will spend the year going through different character studies in the Bible focusing on what it means to be a man of God. As they study men like Moses and King David, they will learn what it takes to become a man of God.
