Woodland Park Weekly, October 2

Weekend Service

This weekend we start a new message series in the book of 1 Peter that we’re calling Hope. Peter wrote this letter to help believers look beyond the present suffering to the hope that is ours in Christ—the confident assurance of a certain future with Jesus!
Whether online or onsite, plan your weekend to gather with us in worship and to hear God’s Word. Service times are Saturday, October 3, at 6:00pm and Sunday, October 4, at 9:15am and 11:00am.

GriefShare meets weekly to help you face challenges and help you move toward rebuilding your life. This Biblically-based course will meet for 13 weeks (with breaks during the holidays). The course includes a video, sharing time, prayer time, and workbook Bible Study. Begins October 11.

Employment Opportunity

We are currently accepting applications for the role of Administrative Assistant of Ministries. Before we post this job publicly, we are opening the opportunity first to anyone within our church body. If you have any interest, or know of anyone at Woodland Park who is interested, we invite you to apply. The job description and application will be open to the public next week on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
