Operation Christmas Child | Oct.-Nov. 12

Bring your filled shoe boxes to the church by November 12. 


Start with a quality "wow" item such as a stuffed animal, soccer ball with a pump, or clothing outfit that will capture the child's attention the instant he or she opens the box. For suggestions go to www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/what-goes-in-my-shoebox-suggestions/ 


PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: Candy; toothpaste; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.

Thanksgiving Food Drive | November

We will collect non-perishable food items, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and diapers on November 12, but we will continue the collection throughout the month of November. All items will be given to single moms with Hope Unlimited and residents at Patten Towers.

Hope Unlimited Christmas | Dec. 17

  • Purchase gift cards from Walmart and put in boxes or offering plate
  • Cash or checks may be given, designated to Hope Unlimited Christmas
  • Pick a family and purchase gifts - lists will be available Nov. 8 & 15. Gifts must be delivered to the church wrapped by Dec. 10.
  • Volunteers need to help with the party on Dec. 17. We need greeters. childcare workers, help serving food, drivers, set-up, and clean-up crews.
