Divorce Care

There aren’t many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused. “Divorce Care” is a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing.  More importantly, you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of your past and look forward to rebuilding your life. This class will utilize videos as well as group discussion. Led by Vicki Jackson and Pat Owens | Book Cost $15 | Room 190

A Do-it-together “Precept Upon Precept” study of Exodus

This is an in-depth Bible study with no, or very little, homework. Learn about the Sovereign Lord our God with other believers. Exodus is about three main events: Israel’s exodus from Egypt, the Ten Commandments, and the pattern for God’s Tabernacle (His dwelling among His people). Learn how these main events and lessons from the main character Moses are relevant for your life today. Led by Tommye Hammel | Book Cost $27.50 | Room 168

Prayer and Bible Study

Join us for a time of fellowship, prayer, singing, and Bible study as we continue our series of studies in Romans. Led by Bruce Daugherty | No Cost | Room 155

Worship Ministry

Whether through voices, instruments, interpretive arts, or administrative and technical support, this ministry serves to lead the congregation in praise. The Praise and Worship Ministry requires a personal knowledge of love for and surrender to Jesus Christ. For more information, please contact the Praise and Worship Ministry at taskew@woodlandpark.org. Led by Carey Dean | No Cost | Room 135 and 126

sunday nights | 6:00 PM

All Things New

The city of ancient Corinth was much like our own modern-day cities -- a melting pot of electrifying cultural experiences plus many pitfalls of spiritual depravity. Still, Paul wrote to the church of God in Corinth, and this means that God’s church is intended to thrive in any city and every circumstance in which we find ourselves. Paul’s letter is as timely as ever. Led by Debbie Bates | Book Cost $14.25 | Room 168

Desperate Dependency

What difference is there in your life because you say you are a Christian? Desperate Dependency written by Kirk and Melanie Lewis identifies the deceptions we believe and points our searching souls to Christ, the only One who is relevant and sufficient to deal with the intricacies of life’s problems and pain. Christ wants to be relevant to every area of your life. Will you let Him? Led by Brian and Deanna Priddy | Book cost is $15 | Room 166

ESL Classes – Outreach

As a practical and effective outreach of Woodland Park, we will continue to offer ESL Classes on Sunday Nights. If you have a desire to help with this ministry, contact us at info@woodlandpark.org. Led by Mission Pastor, Holly Lillie, and Aimee Taylor.

Grief Share

When someone you love dies, it’s common to feel isolated and experience difficulty with “moving on with life”. In Grief Share, you’ll find that you are not alone and that there are others who understand what you are experiencing. God intended us to encourage one another (1Thessalonians 5:11). Join with us in this next phase of life to learn what God has in store for us. Led by Michael Deems and Lill Coker | Book Cost $15 | Room 190

The Message of Grace

Join us for this Following God study, the last Bible study written by Wayne Barber. Church life for many believers has become their only way to measure their spirituality and not intimacy with Christ as found in their daily walk. Inwardly many of them are overcome with frustration and defeat because their lives are empty and they lack joy, but they are afraid to share this honestly for fear of being labeled “unspiritual”. God’s word tells us that there is more to the Christian life than living in shame; we can have victory by learning what the Bible tells us is real living! Led by the pastors at Woodland Park | Book Cost $9.50 | Meets in the Worship Center
