Chris Coleman’s family visited WPBC over 35 years ago when he urged his parents to listen to Wayne Barber whom he had heard speak at a FCA meeting.

He studied Bible at Word of Life Bible Institute and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee.  He has a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UT Memphis, and a Masters in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University.  After completing his education, Chris returned to Chattanooga to be with his family, open his orthodontic practice, and get plugged back into his home church of Woodland Park.

He met and married Mary Anna, his wife of 17 years, at Woodland Park.  They have two sons, Christian (11) and Jackson (9). Until Mary Anna’s battle with cancer, they had been part of the leadership team for the Newlywed Class and the Young Family Life classes for ten years. They currently teach the Wednesday Night Prime 6th graders’ Bible study and are also involved in other areas of service, including event and service design.

Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and boys.  Together, they enjoy studying the Word, getting outdoors, and traveling.

    Chris’ life verse:

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of Truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
